So here is a little bit of who I am and what I'm up to:

 

• My name is Katherine Winter, I’m 27 years old

 

• I’m an Actor, Dancer, Singer and all around Multi-Hyphenate Theatre-Maker

•  Those hyphens include: Producer, Creator, General Manager, Choreographer, Swing, Rehearsal Director, Dance Captain, Fight Captain, Director, Associate, Assistant, Producer, Hair Designer, Communications Manager, House Manager, Education Administrator, Teacher

• I'm the Founder & Creative Producer of New York Theatre Company​​

• Performed in and Rehearsal Director for Bated Breath Theatre Company's world premiere play Chasing Andy Warhol  

​

• Was a part of  Netflix’s NYC Theatrical debut Money Heist

​

• Over the pandemic (since Sept 2020) I was in & Rehearsal Director for the only live theatre show in NYC - VOYEUR: The Windows of Toulouse Lautrec

​

• Helped to bring Broadway back to life with Jena VanElsander's #TSQProject and TSQProject 2.0

​

• I'm the current General Manager and I dance with The Verdon Fosse Legacy, working alongside Nicole Fosse to shape the next generation of FOSSE® dancers

​

• I'm repped by FSE Talent in the USA & by M2 Talent Agency Inc. in Canada

​

• I’m originally from Toronto, Canada and attended Cardinal Carter Academy For The Arts as a Drama Major 

​

• I moved to New York at 17 to attend NYU’s Tisch Drama New Studio on Broadway for musical theatre 

​

• Currently on the Advisory Board for Jazz Dance Project

​

• Worked as the Assistant to the Artistic Producer, Chilina Kennedy, at Eclipse Theatre Company, and served as their Education Administrator for their Mentorship, Training & Opportunity platform

​

• Previous Communications Manager at Superior Theatre Festival

​

• Previously worked for Dance Lab New York (formerly Broadway Dance Lab) under Broadway choreographer Josh Prince

​

• Grew up on old Hollywood Movie Musicals & Barbra Streisand

​

• I am one of the biggest Musical Theatre history nerds you will ever meet

​

• I have a degree of Hyper-Superior-Autobiographical Memory (as in Marilu Henner)

​

• My survival job, that I love dearly, is sharing my passion for NYC, it's history and film & TV at On Location Tours - giving tours and writing new ones!

• Believe in seeing everything you can - I do my best to see every show On & Off-Broadway & Beyond

​

• Pinching myself daily that my 12 year old self would be so proud

​

• Will tell you whenever possible to dream bigger and accomplish what you never thought possible
